What is the Community Fellowship Program?

It is a group that meets with each other 10 hours a week for 10 weeks to promote leadership in the community for survivors of interpersonal violence such as domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, child abuse, and human trafficking.

Why become a community fellow?

This program is a great way for you to develop your leadership potential by identifying skills in advocacy, training & events, project coordination, or technology. It can also help you get a community project off the ground! Our coaching & mentoring will help support your personal and skill development while providing meaningful networking opportunities!

What we are looking for:

  • Reside in Contra Costa County
  • Experienced any form of interpersonal violence in the past year
  • Either age 18 and up for our adult cohort; in high school for the youth cohort.
  • Have Conversational & reading English language ability
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Have participated in school or community activities with a goal of increasing involvement.
