Mind Power in Action (MPA) Program – Now Enrolling at East Center in Antioch!

Mind Power in Action (MPA) is designed to support the mental well-being of BIPOC communities in East Contra Costa, starting with the Black community. This program equips participants with tools to manage anxiety, depression, and stress, helping them build psychological resilience to overcome societal and life challenges. Facilitated by certified Community Health Workers, the program offers culturally relevant support.

Are you a community member or organization interested in learning more about MIND POWER in ACTION? We are happy to take time to have an in-depth conversation with you or your team to determine if becoming a Community Health Worker (CHW) or joining an upcoming 8-week program as a participant is right for you.

To enroll, you must be a resident of East Contra Costa, as the program classes are currently held in-person in this area. If you reside outside East Contra Costa and are interested, we will keep you updated on when the program becomes available in your area. Thank you for your understanding.

Fall Cohort Schedule

Adults:

• Wednesday 9am - 11am (9/25 - 11/13)
• Fridays 7pm - 9pm (9/27 - 11/15)
• Mondays 9am - 11am (9/30 - 11/18)


Youth:

• Saturdays 2pm - 4pm (9/28 - 11/16)
